In this episode, I break down my methods and respond to my Cesar911 episode “Has Cesar Met His Match!”
View to see how I trained Target, an aggressive chihuahua!
Episode Description:
I check out a grandma who is being scared by her grand son’s pet dog in her own house.
Target, a chihuahua mix, is being identified as a problem. An aggressive canine that has actually been snapping and biting at individuals. He has actually been producing a divide in the home, which might lead to the grand son eliminating his precious pet dog …

Wonder if you can ask him a question about your dog?
That dog needs a kick in the teeth…..
Answering to cesar's question, if I can. Suggest some content…I would take cesar to the nearest shelter and see him check on the dogs waiting to be adopted, interact with them and give tips on the way of treating them in the cases he observes more difficult, in order to make it easier to be adopted. It will certainly move people to go for them the minute cesar appears with them and we all learn from seeing him interact… and the doggies will become a little more popular just by hanging around with cesar for a while…..please cesar make a shelter tour!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember Target because of all the rotten teeth that had to be removed. Poor little bugger was in so much pain and even the doggy dentist was suprised that he was still alive from the infection in his gums.
so what happened? did they put the dog down? I would have.
Watching these with my dog is a mess lol he always freaks out when the other dogs freak out
I love the 'Woo Hoo!' he gave at the beginning ❤ Yep that's your show Caesar!
Cesar. Sube tus videos en español. Tú eres mexicano y el español es tu lengua madre, no nos límites por favor 🙏🙏🙏
I think you are the most awesome dog trainer!!!!!
So, I know my puppy is a puppy (9wk old shihtzu) but boooyyyy is he mean! He bites, growls, snaps at us specially with my 3yr old, bites when we just want to pet or hug him, etc. Any tips or tricks?
I have an 11-month old husky had him about a week and he seems really nervous and he's even flinchin away from me every time we've got to walk through a snicket any ideas on what I can do because he's not sniffing about his just literally dragging me our daughter throw the snicket.. even when nobody else is in there. Other than that he's pretty well behaved
Growing up we had a Chihuahua she was the most aggressive dog I’ve ever met. As a kid I learned to jump up on the back of the car very quickly still wish I had that agility it’s always kept me away from Chihuahuas
Nice one .thanks.
Sentìa la inclinaciòn poner la chihuahua en una toalla(firme) , y cuddle him /acariciarlo
Perfecto analysado Cesar !!!con ese chihuahua
love you ceaser! 🕶
Hi CesarSo I want to get some understanding with a scenario that happened when I was 8 years old my grandparents got another sheltie puppy she was really timid and wouldn't let other people near her except my grandparents at the time, me loving dogs and being a kid I did not want her to avoid me so I cornered her picked her up put her on my lap did not release her till she had calmed down and from then on I became her next favourite person so much so when my grandparents passed away and my parents inherited her she preferred living with me only as to living with the whole family.I am now 28 have my own sheltie who's 2 years old with typical sheltie traits eg shy of strangers and doesn't like dogs with too much excited energy especially puppies or staffies he does get to the point where he has to “tell those dogs off” even when he was a puppy at puppy preschool 8-16 weeks age group he didn't like other puppies with lots of excited energy. I live in Hamilton New Zealand so is there a way to possibly send some videos show you what I mean?My dog pretty much goes everywhere with me I run a Painting and decorating business so he hangs out at work with me at job sites off lead because he is super attached to me I have never had to worry about him running away. sometimes he does have to put up with customers dogs, currently there's a 6 month old puppy that's he's happy to play with for a moment but the puppy doesn't get it when he had enough, he has never bitten but he's been having to “tell that dogs off” quite frequently. Let me know what you think Cesar
EVERY time I see Target, I fall in love with him. You did a great job helping him and his person! And, I'm not the only person that has a Cesar crush…I can't be
People treat Chihuahuas like babies. They aren't given the same boundaries as big dogs.
I love this format! Even more in depth and understanding
The only dog I have ever bite is because someone stepped on his tail. Then he would ask to be forgiven. I have lots of dogs.
This episode is such a tear jerker.
The dangerous dog ever😂😂😂😂It is not the dog.The humans shouldnt consume and abuse animals.
of course she's tense!!
Cesar is right when he says the energy hurts more than the bite. I experienced that first hand when my neighbor's bullmastiff bit my arm and then pinned me to the ground. The amount of fear and aggression that was behind the bite was very upsetting, unfortunately, because of that, the dog had to be put down. It wasn't the dog's fault but the council felt differently about it. 🙁
Go figure, a rat dog..
If you’re wondering how to post a new video without making new content, here you go.
Hola cesar saludos desde barcelona, eres un ser especial,yo lo mismo que usted amo a los perros y siempre veo sus programas, por eso le deseo larga vida y personas como usted necesitamos en el mundo,un abrazo cesar Millán.
I think Target has also absorbed some of the family stress and change. Change of home and environment. Loss of pack members from the previous home. Now he has this new home and new pack member to deal with….
This grandma is an ignorant and horrible person. How can she be so blinkered? Wow, so selfish and lacks curiosity. I am glad she is not in my world. She thinks everything is about her.
I started watching Cesar Millan when I got my Dog Rendezvous, a teacup chihuahua in 2007. I learned how to walk her watching Cesar. She did well with me,. Rendezvous passed away this year on Feb 28, 2021. I miss her dearly, she was such a sweet little Chihuahua. I do want to thank Cesar for all he taught me in his show. It really helped me with a lot of different situations. I believe helped to develop a wonderful relationship between Rendevouze and me.
So what was the true out come with Target and Grandma?
Chihuahua from Hell 🤣😂😈
There wouldn't be a need for animal shelters if everyone was required to pass a “Cesar Milan” licensing exam. We do it for driving, gun ownership, etc… Our government is USELESS, scream about the symptoms, never the root cause. Why do more young black men get shot by cops? Blame the cops, or maybe more young black men break the law. Hmmm…..
So amazing!
This is one of my fav episodes.
Please Cesar, take a look at and make an episode about Bunny, the dog that communicates with her owner by pushing buttons of sentences on the floor!
Energy. This is the 1 thing I take from Cesar. Calm assertive energy. Take control, this is my house! Plenty of play but this is my house with my rules!
When little Target (that had been growling, biting, baring teeth) laid his head on the boy’s chest and looked so cute my heart melted! 😍Ceasar is absolutely THE BEST!!Much love and RESPECT!
I first watched Cesar in Nat Geo. Age 12?? Dog whisperer. And that day dream about being like him 😊 until now, he is my Idol until now 23 yrs. ❣️ Love From Philippines 🇵🇭❤️
🙏
Jesus Christ luvs us all ❤️
Where is conclusion??? This just replayed episode !!!!
Thank's for the Answer😔
And I was worried about my Chihuahua snorting at and charging dogs she doesn't know..my gooooodnessssdd
Too much yapping from Caesar
The Bible says we shall have dominion over every creature on this earth n that’s exactly wat he is doin
She’s going away because he bites her. So how is she supposed to build that relationship if he keeps biting her? No one is going to cradle a dog that bites them? She’s afraid of him.
People always refuse to train little dogs because they treat them like a little baby. It's unfortunate, all dogs of all sizes need to be trained and have boundaries.
I have loved your journey Cesar, as do the countless dogs you have helped, lol thank you. Great video, To see your excitement about no fences at your dog park back then was so real I laughed and smiled with you. 😅👍 You have come so far with your beautiful DPC and plethora of animals there and all your other accomplishment. Thanks for being you. 😊🌎🦋🐕🐈
God bless you cesar ! 💖
Cesar is THE BEST!
u are great man!
Cesar, I have a crazy irrational dog phobia which dominates my life.I can’t even manage to take my 2 little ones for beach or forest walks because I’m so phobic of a dog approaching me.My fear directly correlates to their energy – not the size of the dog – the more energetic they are, the more of a panic stricken state takes hold of me! I forget all social norms in that moment and hone in on the dog that’s terrifying me. I’m rendered helpless and barely able to breath, my only function is to try to escape. The cortisol and adrenaline from the panic attack pumps through my whole body!! and probably takes me half an hour to fully calm down after. This happens over and over, it’s totally exhausting.I had a bad experience as an infant.People in Scotland where I live love letting their pooches charge around off-leash and it’s breaking my heart that I can’t be the nature-loving mommy that I am for my children because of this overwhelming fear.I desperately need help. Do you fancy a vacation to the north of Scotland??? 😊 Could you help someone like me?You are absolutely amazing, a miracle worker with dogs (and people!) I love to watch your show; it’s so empowering (from the safety of my sofa!) if only I knew how to apply the head knowledge.Your help would CHANGE mine and my little ones’ lives! 🙏🌈🌍
Cedar is the “GOAT’ 🙏
I wish you were in Wisconsin! I have an 8 month old eskie puppy who is a nipper and biter. Especially to my older mix doggie.
I use to watch your show when I was 10 years old and I’ve gotten an Australian cattel dog
But he didn’t show us what to do , boring
My guy, heooo nah you cant move a rott with a pillow
Target is gonna stay on point.
Why wasnt chihuahuas in the list of aggressive dogs you did. I feel it is much more aggressive than pitbulls.
Oo react to part 2!
Saludos Cesar, tiene videos con consejos en español?
Cesar, I love your work. I follow your work and episodes since 2017, I saw you in the live Show in Dublin, Ireland 2010. Thanks to you I trained my first dog, a Boxer who was my soul mate ( he is sadly in heaven now) . I live again in Germany since 2017, my dog now is a rescue dog
I believe we are beginning to see and hear the depth and insight of Caesar’s innate wisdom and knowing not just about our natural world but also humanity through the amazing world of canines – showing us all how we humans are impacting it and each other.Caesar’s gentle diplomacy and awareness is stunning as he hints that it is us that creates and therefore effects the behaviour of our pooches. It is really beautiful when we can eventually see how our behaviour and mind set is impacting the behaviour of our animals and in turn the family unit and then again our community and on and on.How incredible is it when he slowly creates peace stability and unity in a family and community and how the family ‘dog’ is a magnificent catalyst and ambassador for this healing unity and oneness in our lives as they illuminate the instability fear and fragmentation in each of us – what an honour it is for us to share our lives with nature!!
Lady: Ceser may have met his match.Ceser: You underestimate my power!
I'm afraid almost all the dogs out there but this cutie Lmao .
Cesar is a super hero 👏🥳
You are amazing! I am late to subscribing, but I am doing so now! Please Please I need your help! Our family Chihuahua is out of control! She hates everyone but me, and despite my efforts to train her away (using you tube videos) she is out of control! Just today she tried to attack my neighbor's son! Thank God she didn't but he still fell and scrapped himself up trying to run away from her! This is not ok!!! She is fast and sneaks out the door everytime someone opens it, then doesn't want to come back in… Then still attacks people in the neighborhood! I don't know what to do! Please help us!
Always educational, inspiring, heartwarming & positive. Thankyou so much. 🙂
So what was the outcome? Left wondering if the dog or grandma got put down!
The entire animal world was blessed when Cesar came along. ❤🙏A true Angel to animals. The Grandmother is ALSO another Angel. Her love for her Grandson and her empathy for Target is AMAZING to see.
trust goes two ways
Tbh, amazed Cesar can even explain what he do and what happening. I love dogs too, and I totally understand what he said. To me, owner need to show whose the boss, but also provide love, affection, be childish together, these takes time. But looking at Cesar doing it in such short time is mind boggling. Magic.
I admire you so much Cesar, I wish you the best for all the good you have done to so many people and dogs.
If everyone took Cesar's advice and energy the world would be a better place
Cesar picked up on the dogs need for a dentist. Cesar is so intuitive with people & dogs. So glad Cesar has found a mate. Although, I don't agree with not seeking professional psychological support when a person feels overwhelmed to the point of becoming “unstable” then hospitalized. Thank you for pulling and saving yourself from the “Dark side”. Psychologists & psychiatrists study the mind & body for a longer period of time than a Pediatrician or General Practitioner, MD. Sometimes you have to trust. Trust, respect & affection.
I was enjoying that then the 2 women came into the room then the training stopped….why?
I blame the grandson, he could easily have said no to the dog when it showed aggression to family members , instead he looked at the dog smiled as if the bad behaviour is correct.
I hope I can marry someone like Cesar 😂 lol
I managed to avoid getting bit by a couple dogs that gave every indication it was going to bite, does that count? And I was able to interact with a dog that the owner said he was surprised because the dog doesn't allow other people near her, does that count? Btw, I am a cat person. I like dogs, I just can't pick up after them. Cats are different, but my cats are pretty good with people. They prefer to have me to themselves though.
I love this man so much! I really think he could help the world. The way he deals with people is unreal 🙏🏾💚💯
I think my pup miles is your match seriously
Cesar Millan it is sooo good to see you back where I can enjoy your gift!!! But!!! Why all the repetition to tell Target’s story? If I have to watch through all that for all your videos I do’nt think I can hang in there. Is there a way you can just present the story, discuss the problem and then show you solving it for the client? …Bang ! I am so happy then.
You be good for children too Mr. Millan.
I WOULD NEVER BREED THOSE TWO DOGS!!!!!
How can you bring a dog out of the fight/flight/avoidance without a leash? When my dog gets into that state it’s like his brain locks. You would not be able to get a leash on him at that point to tell him how to feel , how do I “unlock” that part of his brain that causes his instincts to take over?
Is it also possible to train a older cihuahaha??
Never seen anyone that talks so much but says nothing. Clearly knows how to handle dogs, but really cannot teach it to others or at least me.
I love how Target just rests his head on the boy’s chest.
How thus one separate two fighting dogs.
Smells like too much Perfume and Air Fresheners have memories in Dogs.
You make me look up what is the meaning of Chihuahua 😉 maybe descended of chupacabra 😂😻😇
You are amazing! I wish I knew all the techniques to training a chiweenie (if nobody knows what that is..it's a Chihuahua mixed with a dachshund..I have two). They are not mean..but they can be just like all dogs actually. But they keep barking and they have separation anxiety too. I don't know exactly what to do as a first time owner and I could use some advice so they can stop barking at other people and stop and nipping when they are mad at either each other or people. They actually haven't came in contact with anyone yet since they are not finished with their shots..but I don't want them to put it in their head that their behavior is okay ☹️
Target is a little turd bucket.
