Life is always interesting with a dog around, and that apparently includes a wiener dog named Millie. As a black and tan shorthaired dachshund, she is easy to recognize. It seems as if she is also a dog that likes getting in a tight spot on occasion.
Unfortunately, Millie was wedged inside of a wine rack in Jubilee Close in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire.

I have to admit, this is probably one of the most unusual calls that they ran that day. I’m sure that they sometimes get emergencies involving dogs, but this one was out of the ordinary, to say the least.
The firefighters got to work quickly, using metal cutters to release Millie from her wine rack entrapment.
We are happy to say that she is doing fine and was not harmed during the rescue attempt.
The wine rack, on the other hand, could use some work.
