I sometimes have a similar issue with my chihuahua when other dogs walk past, so I think I'm going to keep this technique in mind with my dog. BUT…. what about cats? We don't have any cats, though there are some in our local area, and my chihuahua goes barking mad everytime I pass a cat on the street with her.
Do I try to attempt the same technique as in this video, or not?
Otherwise, normally I just walk on the other side and avoid the cat altogether.
