There is no way that dog is a certified therapy dog. Real therapy dogs go through many training courses such as a Canine Good Citizen test. They must be friendly with both dogs and people to pass.
This is not a certified therapy dog. It would never pass the control test.
This one is interesting. The owner seems like she is really trying, but THIS dog picks up ANY emotion present. She can't say things like “Let's go” like you can with most dogs. This dog takes every little thing literally and seriously. Rosa needs someone who is confident and in control of their emotions at ALL times. I think this would be tough for most of us.

Therapy dogs have to go though testing and they can’t be reactive. It’s such a issue with people just labeling dogs I had a “therapy service dog” which is not a thing lunging and barking and trying to attack my service dog.Service dogs are required for a disability where therapy dogs are not and miss labeling puts legit service dogs at risk I can’t count how many times “service dogs” have tried to attack my dog and are lunging and barking and being aggressive.

Training the owner is more challenging than the dog. The owner is a nice person and I hope she could learn from Cesar to be calm and assertive. It s difficult if we normally tense as mostly human is attached to the past trauma or bad experience. Our overthinking is block our mind to calm. I myself constantly learn from my dog. My dog is mirror of my energy n state of mind

The dog fight at 3:24 is edited between 3:29 and 3:30 This exercise put the neutral dog in a dangerous position. I hope it was unharmed. Given the cropping of footage, and the failure of the handlers to keep the exercise under threshold (or at least back away the calmer dog)…there are concerns.

To be fair, this dog is mostly full of hair triggers. Clearly not a real therapy dog and I don't see how “let's go” is in any way shape or form converted to: “dog attack dog!”The lady is too busy trying to trip over her dog to actually improve her dog. Like, boxers r NOT that strong. I had one and trained it in high school. We r talking 50-ish pds. Also, it's kinda not worth training at this point. Boxers only live roughly 8-9 years or 10 if ur lucky. The dog is 8….Kinda like trying to change a 80 year old lady but 😕Also, a choke chain would fix just about everything.Don't pull like a noose! Jerk it quickly and with a snap and loose and u already have their attention.I find it kinda weird how trainers would use a shock collar, but not something as basic as a choke chain. They r not cruel if ur doing it right. Also, how is a choke chain jerk worse than that noose pulling that lady was doing?? It's not. Also, they r built NOT to choke. It's just what they r called.

It takes a lot of time and work to train and certify a therapy dog. The dog has to be the right temperament and the programs we have worked with have a minimum age before the dog can be tested to receive it's certificate. As a Service dog handler I would be horrified to go into a business and run into a “therapy dog” like this. My Service dog has undergone two years of training of many kinds to be able to help me the way she does.
Okay I get the calm energy part. The dog signals that Cesar picks up before a dog gets into attack mode is what I don't get. I mean, Cesar knows and recognizes those signals because he has been around dogs and has studied their behavior for years and years. As a layman I have no clue what the dog's ears, tail, eyes, etc., etc., are telling me. If I did, then I would know when to 'shoosh' the dog just like Cesar when he's blocking the calm-to-aggressive progression in these problem dogs.
An aggressive dog is EXACTLY what victims of domestic abuse need.
