My puppy will stay right next to me without a leash while I am getting the mail or going around the coldesac(or however you spell it haha) but when we go on longer distances I put her on the leash and she bites at it and eventually is able to pull her collar off, it sucks and I'm really hoping these tips will help

Hey Cesar! I enjoyed your video so much. However, my 6 months beagle refuses to use leash and even collar. She would bite the leash which means to me as an act of protest. When I tried to train her inside with the leash, she wouldn't move an inch… Could you please advise on how to solve this leash biting issue? Thanks so much!!

I tried attaching a leash to our dog and she hates it, she pulls away, doesn't move and worse looks at me vexed. I should try this way.

I’m still trying to figure out how I’m gonna walk my dog who pulls so hard when he sees another dog how am I going to pull that lead so I don’t choke my dog to death or I have to let go and then he’ll run away. 🙈🤷♀️

I am adopting a Frenchie , he's 2 yrs old . He gets excited and jumpy seeing new people when they enter or exit house plus barks alot on them. Previous owners got him during lockdown , thus it seems that he has trouble while socialising.

I have tried this leash with no collar, a regular leash on her collar and a harness & leash and NOTHING WORKS! She just falls down limp and refuses to get up and bites me if I try to pick her limp body up in a standing position!I’m afraid I’m going to choke her or she snaps her neck the way she just falls limp! I’m also afraid she will never leave our yard because she will get too big for us to handle if we can’t train her to walk on a leash!She isn’t stupid! She has learned to come, sit and shake hands!She won’t learn to lay down or walk on a leash!I’ve let her drag the leash around! I’ve put her on a lead in the yard trying to get her use to have a leash on…nothing works! I don’t think they make enough training treats to teach my dog to walk on a leash!I’m so disappointed and worried about this dog and our future! We like to go camping but we can’t until we can get her trained on a leash! I’m not feeling very confident with this.😒😞
One thing I have come to learn is that spirit and energy is everything. Cesar is great for focusing on this so much because it is often overlooked. Trying to teach a dog something when you yourself are stressed does not work. Does not work on humans or any other animals either so that should be obvious, but still it is easy to forget.

I just got a new puppy yesterday. I'm trying to figure exercise him some before I work with him. My problem is is is not food motivated. He's more snuggles and kisses motivated. What can I try to motivate him?
I tried copying this to a T and my German shepherd whose 6 months old just pulls and jumps until the point of basically hanging herself. I put it as high as possible as shown and she jumps twists bites it u til she’s practically choking herself. There has to be more then just “put the leash on and walk with energy”. Please help us! She’s getting to the point where she is bigger then my I’m only 5’1. If you see this Caesar we need your help!

I tried this with my puppy and the dummy jumped off the table, which was a little high for a Chihuahua. Even though I was next to him, he still jumped off. 😂 He was fine. It didn't affect him at all, but it did make me take more precautions so that he would do something like that again. Common sense right?
