They can act out and hurt someone too (and are probably more likely to do it since a lot of people look at them and treat them like teddy bears)Also if you get puppies, please, for your sake and everyone else’s, socialize them early! They only tend to react like this to things they don’t regularly experience or understand.

“She's my baby” no, love, it's your dog. And buying the dog from someone who comes into work with a basket of puppies is not the best idea. Also a Bichon frise and a poodle mix – two neurotic breeds mixed together? No direction, carrying the dog around in a bag? (from one of the clips? did she carry the puppy around so it's not socialised?) I would not have this dog anywhere near kids.

I'm in the process of training a new 6 month old rescue and this book came out just in time It's clear, easy to understand and well written dogy.training The author is not trying to impress anyone with some crazy over comprehensive unclear writing or training techniques like many books do. My shelter puppy has responded well to the 7 common commands and is progressing nicely with the crate training and potty training explained in this book.I'm on day 9 so reinforcing the techniques in this book help daily thanks to Brandon and his no frills training style!
