The problem with most dogs is humans do not know the cues that let the dog know that you are the leader so they will choose you to make all decisions on their behalf. They are simple really…you eat before your dog does, you control the walk, always… and you leave the house first, you control playtime and toys, you control bones, food, beds, etc.etc. It is not a dominant thing…DOGS actually do not want to lead…but will choose the role if they don't see someone else stepping up to do it…if they have to do it, it freaks them out…they have no idea how to get the food, what to do while you are gone, how to behave on a walk and many other crazy behaviors because it would be like someone putting you in control of a company and you don't know how to run it. Dogs look for a leader…you have to step up and be that person…They will easily choose you over doing it themself. You show the dog their boundaries and then they chill out knowing everything is taken care of. I have seen it work with my Black Russian Terrier guardian/protection breed…I saw her mind switch from…she was in charge, to I was in charge by controlling the things dogs think they need a leader to control. Once you do that many other issues go away or are easier to correct. I wish I had known these principles a long time ago raising many other breeds of dogs….I would have had happier dogs. I feel bad so many dogs feel leaderless…most are taken from their mothers and siblings to soon to start to see a leader emerge, so they go into the world trying to figure out who is going to lead each day…you or them…they don't want to do it, trust me. YOU DO IT..and they will follow you and love you for it.

People donât realize that because of pit bulls lineage of being breed for dog fights, they were breed to be kind to their owners, but vicious to other animals in order for the owners to control them during a dog fight, while also still being an aggressive fighter. Thatâs why so many people are deemed âaggressiveâ because people donât understand the psyche. Thankfully many pit Bull breeders are working very hard to breed this out of the dog.

This is why owners must be held responsible and charged when dogs attack. They do it for the owner because of the owner. And they allow because they are often flattered by the protectiveness of their dog.

Jr. actually displayed dominance and Tasha lashed out. That's the reason. The owners need to stop being so nice nice and show that bad behavior is not acceptable.
Tasha also attacked a random lady so yeah pit bulls are not the most trustworthy, training is a MUST but they can turn anytime especially on children look up the pitbull raised from a puppy who attacked the couples two year old pit bulls arenât the best family dogs. Not saying they should be banned but they have instincts and have jaws that wonât let go.
If Junior had been an American Pit Bull Terrier, especially of Deep Gamebred Bloodlines, that other dog would have been killed. Junior was an American Bully, a breed meant to be a Companion. Tasha likely carries some DGB if she really is / was a lab-apbt mix.

Pitbulls MUST be extrminated or at least BANNED to be a pet or to breed, they're the No.1 cause of dog attacks (To humans and other dogs and other pets) in the world, that breed's behavior is well knowned unpredictable and acts horribly most of the time.
These are irresponsible dog owners and should never have owned that breed of dog. That dog should have been put down after the first attack. The owner's should have been made to witness the dog being put down. People need to be trained to own a dangerous dog. Everything from socializing to getting their dog off from an attack and defending an attack. Owning these types of dogs is stupid in the first place. They can and will cause irreparable harm. After training the dogs need to be put on a choke chain everytime they are in public. They are never to be allowed off chain.

Just because Caesar can manage a dangerous dog, doesnât mean the average person can. Some dogs really do need to be put down. If a dog will kill, just because an owner is nervous, it does need to be euthanized!! Choosing an animalâs life over a childâs is ridiculous!!
